The barbell back squat is a great compound exercise. When executed with good form, the barbell squat is a great exercise to help build muscle and strength in the legs, trunk and back.

Let's be real, this is the festive season and it's highly likely we're going to be eating big. If dinner is going to be a big feast, opt for a small breakfast and lunch option or you could skip a meal all together. Enjoy your dinner and go right back to your regular eating the next day.
