At Form Fitness a lot of our personal training clientele come to us in their 50's. The importance of strength training for this demographic cannot be understated. In fact, our personal trainers focus predominantly on strength training as it directly relates to their everyday health, quality of life and longevity.
Osteoporosis, literally “porous bone,” is thinning of the framework inside bones leading to a much higher risk of breaking a bone. Even a minor bump into furniture may cause a fracture. The most common areas of fracture are the hips, wrists and spine. Keeping your bones strong is a smart goal at any age. But a fracture-proof frame becomes a bigger priority after age 50. Fortunately, there are plenty of steps you can take... At Form Fitness, we have solid health and safety systems in place for when we are given the green light to re-open our private personal training gym. At this stage we are predicting to be operating from our gym in Pymble from June in line with stage 2 relaxations.
We would like to highlight that we are (NOT) a commercial gym and we are not open to the public. We (DO NOT) offer general memberships, group training or boot camps. |
